Here’s the debut single from Starshell. The R&B is the first signing to Mary J Blige’s record label, Matriarch, and is working with heavy hitters will.i.am and Scott Storch on her debut album. According to Pop Justice, the “SuperLuva” was originally written for Britney Spears and demoed by Lady Gaga. I’m not sure I can imagine Britney’s voice working on the song, and it doesn’t seem to be adventurous enough for Gaga. I think it’s the perfect single for an up-and-coming artist though and can’t wait to hear more from Starshell in the not-too-distant future.
